Becky Asleson, Principal
Becky Asleson’s design talent was apparent at a young age when her family members would ask her to tag along on shopping excursions to impart her opinion on wardrobes, interiors and all things style. Maple & White is the manifestation of a lifelong dream to bring her passion for beautiful interiors to the world. Her dedicated, measured approach to both design and the business side of the work allows her clients to truly receive the best of both worlds. Becky received a Bachelor’s degree from Emory University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. A native of South Bend, Indiana, she lives in Granger, Indiana with her husband and two children.

Caroline Varga, Principal
Caroline Varga brings over twelve years of design experience to the practice, joining the team from Ferguson Enterprises, one of the nation’s leading plumbing, lighting and appliance wholesalers. As a member of the company’s Washington, D.C. Metro Area Showroom and most recently as branch manager in the Granger, Indiana location, Caroline acquired extensive expertise in lighting, plumbing, appliances, cabinets and kitchens and bathrooms. Possessing an in-depth knowledge of the industry, as part of the American Lighting Association (ALA) she holds her Lighting Specialists (LS) designation.
Caroline embraces a collaborative style that helps ensure the building and remodeling process is a seamless one. She enjoys working with each client’s goals and requirements to make their home a place they truly enjoy spending time. Caroline holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Virginia, where she was a member of the women’s tennis team. A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, she lives in South Bend, Indiana with her husband and two boys.
Sarah Petty, Designer
Sarah Wolf Petty has honed her design and organizational skills for years, initially transforming several homes of her own. Her gifts now benefit clients throughout the region for projects of all sizes. A South Bend, Indiana native, her practice focuses on creating beautiful spaces that inspire and delight each client and their family. Sarah received a Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University, and holds a Kindergarten Endorsement from Ball State and an ESL Certification from Indiana University. Sarah lives in Granger, Indiana with her husband and four children.
Megan Pocock, Designer
Megan’s design approach blends style with comfort and function, and she enjoys incorporating everyday pieces with more sophisticated items. Her goal when working with clients is to create a beautiful space, that incorporates personal touches to make each project feel special. Megan earned a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University, and a Master of Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame. She lives in Granger, Indiana, with her husband, son, and daughter.
Abby Stojke, Designer and CAD Specialist
Abby likes to think of her career as one big learning experience that continuously grows with each project and collaboration. With a dedication to functionality and a curiosity for the affect environments have on human behavior, she keeps her work practical, relevant and uniquely creative. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from the CIDA accredited program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Employed by Peacock and Company, owned by Becky and her husband, she assists on Maple & White projects by creating photorealistic renderings for clients to view the potential for their spaces as well as construction documentation for project use. She is a new resident of South Bend but has enjoyed her time here being with her partner and their dogs.
Jennifer Inghels, Design Assistant
Jennifer Inghels brings her love for good design and organizational skills to our team as a Design Assistant. With a background in Architectural Engineering and Degree in Marketing from Indiana University, Jennifer brings a thoughtful design approach with a focus on a family’s unique needs and style. She loves to mix bits of beautiful, meaningful vintage heirlooms along with new pieces for a truly personal and intentional style that evokes feelings of peace & joy. Some of the pieces she has in her own home have been passed down for over 60 years. After several years of moving & relocating with her husband’s military career and living in Army post housing, Jennifer is excited to remodel her 1925 cottage style home on 3 acres in St. Joe County with her family and two Golden Retrievers.
